'This week I was approached by a sailor whose brief was clear, precise and explicit. He had been hunting for a boat for some time but without success. A busy gentleman (and a pleasure to deal with), he contacted me asking for assistance. In fine tuning his requirements I was reminded of our exact brief when setting up Yachtfinders Global 28 years ago. • Do you know of someone who suffered from, or died of a heart attack?
• Every 90" a NZer dies from coronary heart disease in NZ (16 deaths a day)
• 70% of these deaths would be preventable if a defibrillator (AED –Automated External Defibrillator) was available within 3" after someone stops breathing. A defibrillator gives the heart a shock to make it beat again.
• You do not have to know how to use the defibrillator as it gives you clear instructions to do so.
• If an ambulance took 10" to get defibrillation to a person suffering from a heart attack there would be a survival rate of up to 10%
• If someone received defibrillation within 3 minutes suffering a heart attack the person has a survival rate of over 70% Life and Death
• For every minute defibrillation is delayed the chance of survival decreases by 10% Get cracking - be informed!

Simplest Potato Bake Ever

- 6 Potatoes
- 300ml Cream
- 1 pk French Onion Soup

Slice potatoes into 1 cm thick slices, place in baking dish.
Combine cream and soup, pour over potatoes and bake in oven 180C for approx 30 minutes. Delicious! | |
