But Surf Life Saving New Zealand says with the growing population, they'll need 1000 volunteers and supporters over the next three years, especially at Auckland's wild west coast beaches. Recipe of the Week: One-Pan Pasta
Stuf | |
- 400 g linguine
- 360g cherry tomatoes, halved or quartered
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 t red pepper flakes
- 2 sprigs basil
- 2 T olive oil
- S & P black pepper
- 4 1/2 C water,
- freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Combine pasta, tomatoes, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, basil, olive oil, salt, and water in a large straight-sided skillet. Bring the mixture to boil, then reduce heat and cook until the pasta is al dente. Season with S & P to taste. Serve with Parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil.
