Each week we enjoy bringing you up-to-date local and international news, along with the boats that we proudly represent from Absolute, Selene and Hylas and a brokerage line-up that we sell here and around the world.

Hello Sailors

Over the past three decades Yachtfinders Global has developed into a leading international yacht brokerage known for quality, integrity, and a global perspective. The company began by identifying a market gap for quality second-hand boats in New Zealand and expanded rapidly worldwide, adapting to changing markets and focusing on premium offerings.

Founded in 1996 by Gary Erceg, Yachtfinders Global started by importing quality second-hand boats into New Zealand, quickly expanding sales to the Caribbean, Mexico, and the United States, establishing a global brokerage mindset.

The company expanded into Asia during the early 2000s, navigating the Asian financial crisis with resilience, and later introduced European new-boat brands to New Zealand, prioritising premium builders and long-term value over volume from 2008 to 2015.

Yachtfinders Global developed a significant yacht delivery service across oceans and ports worldwide, and today represents leading Italian and Chinese yacht builders, maintaining strict standards and standing as New Zealand’s oldest brokerage under original ownership with a strong reputation.

With only a small emergency tank containing about five minutes of air, Lemons was left alone in near-freezing darkness on the seafloor. Nearly 40 minutes later, when rescuers reached him, they expected to recover a body — but incredibly, he was still alive.
