Each week we enjoy bringing you up-to-date local and international news, along with the boats that we proudly represent from Absolute, Selene and Hylas and a brokerage line-up that we sell here and around the world.

Hello Sailors

Amazing how sales are picking up for us during autumn as customers continue to enjoy a late summer on the water - and with winter just around the corner who can blame them?

So if you're contemplating 'getting out' or 'moving up' do come and see us about selling and buying whether locally or off-shore. We're now in our 30th year of marine brokering and have a great international network of dealers who can help make a deal happen and prevent all the mishaps that can and do occur when getting lost on the internet on your own.

So if you see something that takes your fancy contact us first so we can assist you in making it an enjoyable and safe purchase.

Happy Sailing. Or simply call and we'll help you with your search from the start!

Why Kiwi Boaties Choose Semco

Semco is a premium teak sealer trusted by boat owners worldwide and it’s perfectly suited to New Zealand’s harsh marine conditions. Designed to protect teak from UV, salt air, and moisture, Semco delivers season‑long protection with just two easy coats.

Unlike oils that blacken or varnishes that peel, Semco enhances the natural beauty of teak while remaining water‑repellent and non-slip - ideal for decks and high‑traffic areas. It’s simple to maintain, making it a smart, practical choice for boaties who want their teak to look great without constant upkeep.

Buying a boat?

Considering your boating goals?

Let’s get started..

To determine which boat best suits your purposes, consider your boating goals. Here are some good questions to consider, helping you choose a boat that’s fit for purpose:

How much time do you have available?

Before buying a boat, determine how much time you have to spend on your boat. How long do you typically want to be away from the water? Do you just want to go on weekend escapes every now and again? Or maybe longer trips, enjoying a couple of weeks’ holiday? If you’re away for a longer time, best to consider a boat with greater comfort and capacity.
