Each week we enjoy bringing you up-to-date local and international news, along with the boats that we proudly represent from Absolute, Selene and Hylas and a brokerage line-up that we sell here and around the world.

Hello Sailors

The Absolute 48 Coupé we have available right now is more than a boat - it’s a rare opportunity. This model has become one of the most sought‑after owner‑operator yachts in New Zealand and having one physically in stock (not with a 2‑year waitlist!) is already a major advantage. Combine that with its exceptional pricing, and this becomes one of the smartest buys on the market.

This boat is currently sitting at Westhaven Marina in Auckland, awaiting the arrival of its new owner. If you were to order this boat from the yard now the cost would be substantially more because of the current NZ dollar value - so a big saving available - another advantage!

2 Divers entered Jacob's Well - one stayed hidden for 21 years

Two experienced divers entered Jacob’s Well late at night, chasing a chamber with a deadly reputation. Instead, they disappeared inside a narrow passage known as the Birth Canal, where unstable gravel buried them deep inside the cave system. One body came out only after a flood, while the other remained trapped for 21 years after multiple recovery attempts nearly killed the rescuers too. What happened inside that Texas cave became one of the most haunting diving mysteries in the state.
