A recent rise in documented orca interactions with small vessels off parts of Europe. Researchers are focusing on repeated contact with rudders and steering systems rather than random hull strikes. Early evidence suggests the behavior may be socially transmitted within specific pods.

Recipe of the Week:  


Mediterranean Tuna Salad


  • 300g dried pasta

  • 150g baby spinach

  • 50g black olives, sliced 

  • ½ red capsicum, diced 

  • ¼ telegraph cucumber, diced

  • 425g can Tuna Chunks In Springwater 

  • ¼ C Italian parsley, roughly chopped

  • 50g feta, crumbled 

  • ½ C Balsamic Vinaigrette (or dressing of your choice)

  • Black pepper 

  • Lemon wedges, to serve.

Cook pasta as per pack instruction, then drain and leave to cool. Add pasta to large bowl. Add olives, capsicum, cucumber, tuna, feta, parsley and spinach. Lightly toss to combine. Pour over dressing and season with pepper, then squeeze over lemon wedges and serve.
