For many lifelong sailors, moving from a sailboat to a trawler is a big decision. Sailing isn't just how you travel — it's part of who you are. So what would make someone transition to the trawler lifestyle?


While every owner admits it was a difficult decision at first, they all say the same thing: once they made the transition, they never looked back. Each structure is at least 10 m high comprising a cantilever with an outstretched net suspended over the sea and large stones.

Recipe of the Week:  


Mediterranean Traybake Lamb Meatballs


Ingredients:
  • 500g lamb mince
  • 2 red onions, half grated and half cut into chunks
  • 4 t dried mint
  • 8 t dried oregano
  • Pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 courgette, cut into thick chunks
  • 200g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 aubergine, cut into chunks
  • 1 red pepper, thickly sliced
  • 4 T olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, halved
  • 80g feta
  • 120g greek yoghurt, 
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges

 

Method:
Preheat oven to fan forced 170°C. Put mince, grated onion, dried mint, half the oregano, cinnamon, and salt into bowl. Mix well. Divide equally and roll into meatballs. In large bowl, mix all  veges along with oil, garlic, remaining oregano, and some salt & pepper. Tip onto large roasting tin and place meatballs on top. Bake for 30 mins, turning meatballs halfway. Meanwhile, crumble feta and mix with yoghurt. Serve traybake with fresh mint, yoghurt mix, and lemon wedges.
